Bringing the sparkle back….
I can’t tell you how good it is to hear the workshop noise back up to full steam after a bizarre year or so. There’s a comfort in the polishing motors, sawing and hammering that is bringing our designs to life for you and which tells me that Christmas is well and truly in the air!
This year we’re celebrating stones which have outstanding colour and alluring depth of tone. Here’s a sneak peek at what will be arriving on our shelves (and website) on 23rd November.
Morganite - a feast of pink and blue

Blue Morganite & Diamond Seven Stone Purity Ring
Morganite, a member of the aquamarine family, is known for it’s ‘ballet pink’ hue, just subtler than pink sapphire. Slightly less well known, however is the blue morganite, which makes you feel like you’re looking at the sea. Unlike their aquamarine cousins, they retain their colour more obviously when worn against the skin.
This blue morganite ring, set in our classic, sweeping, Purity style is our Guildford store Manager’s favourite piece this year. Why? Because of the exceptional setting of the main stone and the near see-through nature of this wonderful blue morganite. She almost doesn’t want it to leave the store…almost. Festive Green Beryl
Green beryl is making us feel extra festive. The beryl is a pale, lagoon like stone and if you want something extra eye-catching and sparkly, then this is for you. Our head Goldsmith has chosen an oval green beryl to set in our iconic Pure ring setting as his favourite piece this year –the depth of colour reminds him of the stunning Paraiba stones we’ve set in the past. A Trillion Wishes…
We love trillions – a triangular shape, but with the softest curved edges. Trillions create a satisfyingly symmetrical, yet interesting piece, especially in the range of blue topaz and amethyst we’re using. These beautiful stud earrings would find their way onto my Christmas list!
